At Ophthalmology Associates of Queens, we are pleased to offer Envision by InMode, an in-office platform designed for precise treatment in small and delicate areas of the face and around the eyes. Our Envision services combine targeted energy-based technologies with a personalized approach to address Dry Eye and Meibomian Glad Disease (MGD) at the source.  Envision by InMode also addresses aesthetic and skin concerns around the eye in a comfortable office setting.

Our practice currently offers two Envision technologies: Forma-I, which uses bipolar radiofrequency (RF), and Lumecca-I, which uses intense pulsed light (IPL). Your treatment plan will be based on your individual concerns, medical history, and goals.

What Is Envision?

Envision is a non-surgical treatment platform developed for precise procedures in the face and periorbital region. Its technologies are designed to deliver controlled energy to targeted areas while allowing the provider to tailor treatment to the patient and the area being treated.

At Ophthalmology Associates of Queens, Envision expands the range of in-office options available to patients who are interested in advanced aesthetic care around the eyes and face. We will recommend treatment  appropriate for your needs and goals.

Envision Technologies Available at Our Practice

Forma-I: Targeted Radiofrequency

Forma-I is a specialized applicator that delivers targeted radiofrequency energy to small, delicate treatment zones. The technology is designed for precise thermal treatment with controlled energy delivery. Forma-I is used to treat MGD and dry eye disease at the source.

During your consultation, our team will evaluate whether Forma-I is appropriate for the area you would like treated and explain what you can expect before, during, and after your appointment.

Lumecca with Lumecca-I: Precision IPL Treatment

Lumecca is an intense pulsed light (IPL) technology. When used with the Lumecca-I spot-size adaptor, it allows for more precise treatment of smaller areas.

Lumecca is FDA cleared for the treatment of selected benign pigmented and vascular skin lesions, including concerns such as certain forms of hyperpigmentation, freckles, rosacea-related redness, telangiectasias, and other benign vascular lesions. Whether this treatment is appropriate for you depends on your skin concern, skin type, medical history, and treatment goals. When used in conjunction with Lumecca-I is a powerful non-invasive, in-office treatment option to address the root cause of dry eye disease.

What to Expect

Your experience begins with a consultation. We will discuss your concerns, review your medical and eye-health history, and determine whether an Envision treatment is appropriate for you. If treatment is recommended, we will explain which technology is being used, why it was selected, and what you should expect from the appointment.

Treatment recommendations, the number of sessions, and aftercare can vary from patient to patient. Our goal is to provide clear guidance so you understand your options before moving forward.

Is Envision Right for Me?

Envision may be an option for patients interested in non-surgical treatment of selected aesthetic or skin concerns around the face and eye area. The best way to determine candidacy is through an in-person evaluation, since not every treatment is appropriate for every patient or skin concern.

If you have a specific eye-health concern, including dry eye symptoms, please let us know when scheduling so we can direct you to the appropriate evaluation and treatment discussion.
