What to Expect
On your first visit, you will meet with the doctor who will listen to important background information on your general health and eye health. The doctor will likely put dilating drops in your eye, which require 20 -30 minutes of dilation time to work. During that time, the Medical Technicians may perform some imaging tests. Once dilated, the doctor can fully examine the inside of the eyes and complete the exam. Please be aware that a complete new-patient eye exam can take 90 -120 minutes depending on dilation and complexities.
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor can provide you with the best possible care. Please remember to bring your insurance card, a government issued identification card, any glasses, eye medication, and a method of payment. Please arrive at the time of your visit and check in with the front desk.
Please note, to respect all of our patients’ time, the office has a $25 no-show or late cancellation policy. Thirty minutes after appointed time, or if an appointment is cancelled within the same day, a $25 fee will be charged.
We look forward to seeing you!
